This just in Pelican products

http://www.pelican.com/

Well I just received some of the first review products from Pelican Case and Lights. I have known Pelican to make some of the most indestructible cases on the market. Now when I was at CES, they showed me their work lights, so they sent me two products to review.

First impression

This is a very well constructed case If you want to protect the 30,000 songs on your iPhone, this is the one. I looked at many cases at the show but this is the toughest one there. I have a buddy thats a fireman, I think I will loan it to him and see what he thinks of it.
Actual size

some details form there website
PM6 3330 LED Flashlight Same as the 3320 Flashlight but in an LED version. The PM6 3330 LED Flashlight is made of light weight Xenoy polymer that's corrosion proof, resistant to extreme temperatures, and extremely strong. It uses a 1 watt LED and is powered by 2 CR123 lithium cells (included). A black oxide coated steel clip is built in and the one-handed tail switch activates the 3330 on, for constant light or momentary blink.

First impression

I have used a lot of cheap LED flashlights in the past, and this is not one of them! If you have to count on a flashlight for work or play, and you need it to be small but powerful, the 3330 is it! When I put the batteries in, I noticed right away that the threads are designed not to cross-thread, they line up perfect. Also I can change the batteries with my winter gloves on with no problem. It is brighter than any of my other similar size flashlights, in fact, its actually brighter then my 6 cell mag lite. I will keep you up to date as I think of ways to field test this flashlight.

First Impression
At first glance I like the style, it's small, thin and fits nicely in the palm of your hand. The display is clear and seems easy to read. There is a snap on cover that protects the screen. However, the user interface is going to take some getting used to. With buttons on the right hand side, it is comfortable for right handed individuals, but they are not labelled, and the center button does not seem to have a clear function.

This unit has a lot of features. It is easy to use and is equipped with Wi-fi. I have already added my music library to it and have started downloading books and articles. The screen is large, the resolution is clear and I found the fonts easy to read. Navigation is by button and the touch screen with stylus - I like this. When you are reading and you want to change pages, all you need is to press one button, that's it. However if you are surfing the web, I recommend that you use the stylus.
