Fall Is Approaching

What a great summer, apparantly one of the best growing seasons for our local grape producers and wineries. As we roll through September, we are busy helping clients adapt to the change to Digital from Analogue signals into their homes. Whether it is an install of a digital antenna, or simply connecting their new digital cable boxes to their home theater systems, we are ready to help. Spring Specials

Thanks to everyone who visited us at the Greater Niagara Home and Garden Show, it was a huge success! We hope you all enjoyed the demonstration of one of our 3D projectors - WHAT a picture! Our Mirror Televisions were a hit as well, (when it's off it is just a mirror, the picture appears in the mirror when you turn the TV on) remember they are available in any size to suit your style. Spring is technically here, and as it starts to warm up many are looking outdoors to start using their yards and patio's again. Spring Store Hours

Commencing March 16th, our store is back to normal hours, Wednesday to Friday 10 am - 5 pm, Saturday 1- 5pm, otherwise by appointment either in store, or in your home.

Wood Cone Speakers

I found these speakers very interesting, we have brought just a few of them in to experiment with a wood cone speaker system for music listening.

I found that when set up and calibrated properly, they are exceptional at reproducing the sound of instruments played in a concert halls. Pianos, Cello's, Violins, acoustic guitars, all sound real on these speakers. They perform like musical instruments! The speaker diaphragms are made out of wood, the same material used for making violins, cellos, and other instruments. It is amazing how real they sound. We found that it was very important what type of amplifier we used to power the speakers. We do not expect the tower speakers to produce much base, so we use a 240W powered subwoofer. This makes for a full dynamic sound stage. I recommend that anyone looking at a dedicated music listening system should have a listen to this.
